I do want a faster speed, so I'm thinking either the Bell Fibe 150 or Rogers Ignite 100 plan will be sufficient. I can save $30-40 a month if I don't take the Gigabit plans either company is offering. From what I have seen, most people recommend Bell Fibe because it is FTTH (fibre to the home) so I will rarely experience slow speeds.

Jan 25, 2008 · Fibe speed is limited by optics: The reason Bell advertises asynchronous download/upload speeds is that the laser inside the Bell CPE (Customer premises equipment) is insufficient for a 1Gbps data rate while the laser in their shed (which governs your download speed) is capable of pushing 1Gbps down the pipe.
