May 15, 2012 · I tried Rufus (rufus-2.8.exe) and it worked to launch into intermediate Tails. Thank you for the suggestion and explanation. Now I'm running into what seems some hardware issues (e.g. I can use touchscreen interface at the Tails greeter screen, but this ability goes away once I can see the Tails desktop).
We Love Tails! We have a golden retriever who is now 15months old. We had a nightmare with him and his food as a younger puppy. We tried many foods before trying Tails. We were desperate as he was under weight and so fussy! Well Tails has made all the difference! Initially we only brought the dry food but he got board of that after a few weeks. You may remember that we looked at a US government distro with similar aims a few months ago, but Tails is different because it is aimed at the privacy conscious “normal user” rather than government workers. Tork LiveCD; Privatix; Tor-ramdisk; most of them do not leave any traces - apart from the fact that on disks (which every LiveCD distribution can do) it also automatically erases the contents of RAM (which protects against Cold boot attacks) After the author has tested several of the above I recommend using TAILS for distribution.
